After a car rear-ended me, I had pain that radiated from my neck all the way down to my hip. I was in constant pain and didn't know if I would ever get my old life back. Therapy Unlimited is helping me to do just that with specific exercises and pool walking designed just for me! They even helped with my auto claim and explained the paperwork to me and sent all the reports that my insurance company needed so that everything was covered!

Just saying excellent or exceptional is not enough for the work done at this place. They are doing, in my opinion, more good to me and other customers than the above words mean! When politeness, good manners and cheerfulness are on their side “nothing will go wrong”. Special thanks to Jennifer, LaNea and Sarah who attended me and to Kristen & Lauren & Jenny at the front desk.

You may need a mobility device (or a change in your current mobility device) if:

> You are experiencing frequent falls

> You hold on to furniture or walls while walking

> You are expending too much energy when walking

> You avoid certain activities because of mobility difficulties or fear of falling

> You have difficulty maintaining your balance when standing still or moving

> You become fatigued when standing for more than 30 minutes

When falls are a problem, a mobility device may be needed to enhance your function so you will be ale to be safer, be more independent, and do more of the things you want to do. These devices range from orthotics (braces that position a weak or spastic foot properly and compensate for foot drop) to canes or walking staffs, crutches, walkers, scooters, and wheelchairs. It is important to select one that will best meet your needs. It is important that you consult a physical or occupational therapist to select the correct device to enhance your mobility, adjust the device or optimal fit, and train you to use it appropriately and safely.
