Ms. Susan, Thank you very much for all of your help and for caring for real. You are a very special and kind person!

Nicole (& my family too)

My hands got so stiff from arthritis that I had a hard time doing simple tasks with my fingers. Kristin worked with me and showed me exercises to do to help me loosen up my muscles and learn to live with my limitations. I am so grateful that I called Therapy Unlimited for my free consultation to learn that I could do something about my hands. My doctor thought it was a great idea to do therapy and wrote a prescription the same day I talked to him!

Types of Arthritis - Apollo Clinic Blog

There are several types of arthritis as identified in the image above; however, the two most common ones are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis. This condition usually comes with age and most often affects the fingers, knees, and hips. Sometimes osteoarthritis follows an injury to a joint years after the injury has apparently healed.

Rheumatoid arthritis happens when the body's own defense system doesn't work properly. It affects joints and bones (often the hands and feet), and may also affect internal organs and systems. You may feel sick or tired, and you may have a fever.

Another common type of arthritis, gout, is caused by crystals that build up in the joints. It usually affects the big toe, but many other joints may be affected.
