My hands got so stiff from arthritis that I had a hard time doing simple tasks with my fingers. Kristin worked with me and showed me exercises to do to help me loosen up my muscles and learn to live with my limitations. PTs and Handicap Parking
Did you know? Michigan became one of the latest states to add physical therapists (PTs)to the list of providers who may provide certification of disability for purposes of parking placards and license plates. PTs can make determinations for temporary parking placards, license plates, and free parking stickers.
If you regularly see a physical therapist and feel you would benefit from use of handicap parking, talk to your PT!
